Employee Benefits

Health & Well-Being

Before Insurance Brokers, we’re people. That’s why health and wellbeing is just as important as the job, because success comes from within.

We’re proud to offer the Employee Assistance Program for both staff and their immediate family to ensure our people feel supported whenever they may need help.

We’re also extremely involved in our communities where we give staff opportunities to support our affiliated charities like ‘Children’s Cancer Institute’ and ‘Ronald McDonald House Charities’ through fundraising activities, paid volunteering leave and more.

Training & Development

We’re exceptionally focused on training and developed in a number of different ways.

In addition to extensive internal training throughout the year, we also support external industry programs and encourage our staff to access opportunities provided by NIBA and other relevant training bodies.

We run a very successful and sought-after training program – developed to fast-track hardworking and aspiring brokers to the next level in their career.

Perks at Work

Meet Our Leadership Team

Rebecca Wilson

Managing Director

With a career spanning over 20 years in the insurance profession, Rebecca gained extensive experience managing insurance programs for large commercial clients transforming the business to achieve year-on-year growth.

Rebecca focuses on cultivating a thriving workplace environment that encourages people to excel, collaborate and feel supported. As the 2010 recipient of the WTMA Insurance Young Professional of the Year Nationally and NSW, Rebecca’s gone from strength to strength as she was appointed NIBA board’s NSW Director and NSW divisional committee’s Vice Chair.

Rebecca has spent over 10 years volunteering for the The Reach Foundation and is currently the Chair of the NSW subcommittee to the board alongside having raised over $400k for multiple charities

Aaron Archer

Client Service Division Manager – Corporate & Commercial (Director)

With over 20 years experience, Aaron has worked for the world’s largest multinational insurance brokers in multiple countries. He’s designed and implemented bespoke insurance programs to help clients fully understand their risk exposure in the most cost-effective and comprehensive ways.

Passionate about professional development, Aaron places a large focus on providing training and growth opportunities for his team. He brings an in-depth knowledge of the insurance market and offers insight to the Austbrokers ABS team on risk advisory and challenging and complex claims matters.

Terry Condylios

Client Service Division Manager – Authorised Representatives

Terry has over 40 years experience within the insurance industry across a number of roles within medium and large sized international Insurance Brokers.

Seeking risk financing methods and sourcing insurance alternatives is the key to a successful insurance adviser – a skill that’s not commonly found in an insurance broker. Terry and his team are responsible for managing a portfolio of clients spanning across corporate, commercial, industrial and rural sectors. Placing relationships at the centre, Terry approaches his portfolio of clients as friends first and foremost – providing an honest and reliable approach while maintaining professionalism, which continually exceeds client expectations and delivers positive outcomes.

Jessica Whiteoak

Client Service Division Manager – Claims

Jessica is one of our kindest, most empathetic and fun-loving members in the Austbrokers ABS team. Her passion for all things people together with her tenacity makes for the best combination in achieving positive outcomes for her clients. Jessica doesn’t like to go with the term ‘clients’ as she advocates for them as she would her own family – this one of the reasons why she always pushes in every case.

Jessica’s love of claims came to fruition when she first started at a brokerage many moons ago and realised that no claim is the same. Each and every case has its own unique story, purpose and bespoke solution. Jess hopes to work with you soon and make your claim a breeze.

Adam Peatey

Senior Client Service Manager – Workers Compensation

Adam has passionately led the workers compensation team at Austbrokers ABS for six years where he assists clients in all types of circumstances. His 26 years of experience shows how proud he is to work as a workers compensation specialist and it’s evident how much he believes his role has a positive influence on returning injured employees back to the workforce.

Adam brings a wealth of knowledge to the group and has a strong focus on culture to ensure the team feels encouraged and supported to achieve the best possible results for our clients. The most enjoyable part of Adam’s day is when he’s able to break down intricate legislation and make it easier for clients to understand – resulting in confidence and good outcomes.

Kelly Guy

Manager – People, Culture & Business Administration

Kelly has spent the past 20 years working in a HR/Recruitment capacity – focusing on providing people and business support solutions to a wide range of clients and business partners.

Kelly is responsible for strengthening the organisation’s capacity to deliver high-quality human resources services in accordance with Austbrokers ABS’ key strategic directions.

Placing results at the centre of her approach, Kelly is a high achiever with a proven track record for being able to understand the evolving needs of a business. Developing strong, professional relationships with department leaders, Kelly is able to provide superior people support. Kelly’s focus is on helping people and teams reach their potential – a philosophy that’s present in her everyday approach.

Diversity & Inclusion is a part of our DNA.

Diversity and inclusion is something that’s always had its place and been a part of the Austbrokers ABS DNA from day dot. Our staff consists of people from all walks of life, abilities, backgrounds and genders. It’s something we celebrate, continue to support and advocate for in everything we do.
